I started this project thinking it was about rooms, but I quickly realised it was really about the people inside them. The objects and decorations only exist because of the personalities shaping them. What began as a study of personal spaces turned into a love letter to the friends I interviewed (and honestly, to myself too). I went into their rooms, asked about their stuff, took photos to capture things as they really are, and somewhere along the way, I realised the real story wasn’t about the objects at all, but the people who are the real Treasures.

Treasures is a visual anthology that explores people’s personal worlds through their rooms and the objects they hold close. I wanted to capture these spaces honestly, to show the beauty in the everyday and the stories tucked away in corners. It’s a celebration of my friends, their personalities, and the way they make even the smallest spaces feel like home.
